To add an image to a direct page, find the text/image section that you want your image to be placed into. Be sure to have your cursor in the part of the text box that you want the image to drop into.
Click the “Add Media” button directly above the text box settings. This will pull up a box to directly drag and drop image(s) into to load onto the direct page you are on.
You can change the images settings, including sizing by scrolling down on the right sidebar until see you the heading “Attachment Display Settings.” Once you have chosen everything that you want, simply press the “Insert to Page” button.
To replace an image, click on the image directly. A dialogue box will be above the image when you do. Click on the pencil icon to go to the image editor.
Once there, choose the “replace” button directly underneath the image’s thumbnail. At this point, it will bring you back to the “Add Media” pop up. Choose or add in the image that you would like to replace the current with, and then follow the steps above.
